WHAT IS AYURVEDA?
Passed down for over 2000 years and tested by each generation, Ayurveda is an ancient system for cultivating a vibrant life. A holistic practice in the broadest sense, the Ayurvedic view incorporates everything from how we make our breakfast to how to understand our spiritual practice. An Ayurvedically informed life can help you pursue what's are known as the four goals of life, your purpose or role in the world, your financial and material stability, your experience of pleasure and lastly your pursuit of spiritual liberation.
Ayurveda has helped me to find greater self-understanding, especially of my areas of weakness that I often choose to ignore. It takes an incredibly complex set of variables, including our physical, emotional and psychological constitution, our medical history, our diet, lifestyle and desires, and helps to provide realizable, effective recommendations.
Most importantly, I have found that Ayurveda has helped me appreciate that every facet of our daily lives can be lived with a kind of reverential ceremony, which can empower us by constantly keeping us connected to the present moment.
